What does it involve?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is anchored in the jawbone and later supports a crown, bridge or denture. Implant treatment may involve several stages with healing periods – the schedule is set by the treating dentist.
Veneers are thin facing shells, usually made of ceramic, that are bonded to the front surface of the teeth. As a rule, some tooth substance has to be removed for this; ask for the advantages and disadvantages to be explained to you in detail.
