What does it involve?
The term mammaplasty covers several different procedures: breast augmentation (with implants or your own fat), breast lift (mastopexy) and breast reduction (reduction mammaplasty).
With implants, the manufacturer, type and serial number are important for later check-ups. Ask to be given these details in writing in an implant card.

- Which implant (manufacturer, type, surface) will be used, and will I receive an implant card?
- What do the recommended check-ups involve, and can they be carried out in Germany?
